Week 10: (Part 1) Render on Photoshop

Image
Having traced over a plan and then made changes including the addition of a terrace, pond and marquee, I then rendered it using different patterns and techniques. One I’m particularly proud of is my watercoloured grass - I uploaded the painting and saved it as a new pattern

Week 9: (Part 2) Competition entry

My first competition entry submitted :) after a lot of tweaks and getting my head around indesign I finally finished it

Week 9: (Part 1) Nollimaps

Image
Using photoshop, Experimenting with different colours when creating an outline of buildings in a space from an Edina Digimap image of the site

Week 8: (Part 2) Forgotten Places

Image
There is a largely disused retail park close to where I live and I’ve been working on a design to reinvigorate the area through community involvement. I thought a multi-perspective piece would reflect the benefits that many different people may gain from the area

Week 8: (Part 1) General Patton

Image
I found out how to create my own patterns on photoshop and practised by block-filling this plan view of a design I’ve done on Cad. Happy with the patterns, need to check how to remove backgrounds without dulling the image..still learning! Oh I went back to this and added shadow once I learnt how :)

Week 7: (Part 2) Bucket List

Image
This week’s task was to colour render a drawing of a garden using different techniques on photoshop. I think doing this with pattern is brilliant, looks like a collection of designer wallpapers

Week 7: (Part 1) Skandi-English Garden

Image
Using skills I picked up in the bucket fill task, I drew a picture of a garden, scanned it in to photoshop and colour rendered it. I’m happy with how clean and today it feels, a lot like the actual garden itself.
